If you are planning to go for bike servicing at bhojanna suzuki in horamavu, bangalore then I would highly recommend you to go through this article to get your expectation clear. Recently, I visited bhojanna suzuki located in horamavu, bangalore for my bike servicing. I took my bike for servicing on 20th July where I have been told that I will get it back by only 22nd July(monday) as 20th July was Saturday and I went around 12 PM so it was pretty late for them get it serviced so quickly and return the same day.
But they also told me that they would try to give it same day by 6:45 PM but it was not for sure. Along with servicing, I had some other issues like I had to change my seat cover and some engine problems were also there which needed to be checked so I agreed on all their points and told them it is fine for me to get it on 22nd july in case it’s not possible by 20th July evening. They told me that they will complete the servicing and call me by 22nd July evening around 6 PM. With that trust, I left my bike with them.

Later that day, I also received a message in my mobile saying “Dear Customer, Your GIXXER-SF KAXXXXXX has reported for service at BHOJANNA SUZUKI. Estimated delivery time 20-JUL-2024 at 06:45:00 PM 90XXXXXXXX – Suzuki 2W”. After receiving this message, I thought may be all the work would get completed the same day and I don’t have to wait till monday. So I started waiting for their call or message around that time but no call or message came that day. Then I understood probably work on my bike was not fully completed and now I will get it by monday only. So all good as they also said the same thing.
As monday was my office today, I went to office and planned to come back by 6 PM so that I can collect it by 6:45 PM. As I had lot of work that day, I almost forgot that I have to take my bike back from service center but by the evening when I remember, I came back to home by 5:30 PM. This time I was still waiting for a call or message from them as the closing time was nearby. When no information came from the them then I thought to call on the given number to check the status and then only go to take the delivery in case they are going to take some more time.
I called on their number and some female office attendant picked the call. When I asked about the status of my bike, they told me to hold on so that they can check and confirm. Then I waited for their response for few mins. While I was hearing all the voices from other side, I never got any response back. It looked like phone attendant kept the call open and went away as no one was responding when I was keep on asking for response. I thought there may be some disturbance on the call and the person from other side unable to hear me.
So I disconnected the call and called again. This time some male attendant picked the call after few rings. I asked the status of my bike again from that person too. He also told me to hold on so that they can check the status and confirm. I again waited for few mins for their response and then asked again. Unfortunately no one responded after waiting for few mins and at this point of time I started getting a feeling that there is something wrong. Then I decided to visit myself before the closing time which was around 7 PM.
I immediately booked an auto and reached service center to check the status of my bike. I reached there by 6:30 PM. When I asked on the reception, person on the reception did not responded and started talking to some other person(probably making jokes) while I was standing like a fool and asking the same question. Then I noticed another service center person crossing by, this time I asked from him, he told me to go to accounts section and check the status there.
So I went to account section and asked the status of my bike there. He told me to wait as he is checking the status from another staff. It was immediately visible that staff were asking each other but no one had any clue about my bike. Then finally one staff told me to come with him. He took me to his warehouse which is next to their service center where they kept all their bikes and scooties and started searching for my bike. There I saw my bike was lying on a corner without any work done.
After that staff got confirmation that it was my bike lying there, he came back to service center and started talking to another staff there. That another staff started saying sorry to me which made me confused. I did not understood anything as everyone was speaking in local regional language and I did not know the language. One staff came to me and told me in english to collect my bike tomorrow(23rd July) by 12 PM and give them some more time. I immediately understood since saturday they didn’t even touched my bike so they were asking for more time.
What surprised me most is that no one thought to inform me the same when I was asking over the call, that way I did not had to go to service center and I would have easily waited for tuesday as my bike was causing problem and I had to get it fixed. They did not just wasted my commuting time and money but they also did not explained me the reason for not servicing my bike after keeping it for 2 days in the corner of a warehouse.
This is not very difficult to understand that when a service center did not do anything for 2 days, do not respond or update anything on the call, then there is no way they are going to give my bike back the next day. I got a feeling that they were planning to keep it atleast for a week without informing the same to me. That time, people in the service center starting circling me and I was getting the feeling that they were forcefully telling me to leave the bike and go away. I felt totally unsecured in leaving my bike there.
So i kept my calm and humbly requested to give my bike back so that i can go to office and I will bring it back again the next saturday. After my few tries, they agreed on it and decided to return my bike. They took the acknowledgement copy back from me and gave the key. I immediately hovered on my bike and went away promising never to come back at that horrible place which has no regard for customers and their problems.
I hope now you might have got a fair idea about the working culture of this service center. I hope my article reaches to Suzuki India and they take appropriate action on these type of unfriendly service centers running across the country.
